Description of the conference
D’une longueur de plus de 3 km, le pont Champlain d’origine est un ouvrage complexe et emblématique pour les résidents du Grand Montréal. Suivant la mise en service du Pont Samuel-de Champlain, cet ouvrage d’envergure est voué à disparaître définitivement de l’horizon montréalais. La déconstruction ayant débuté à l’été 2020, plusieurs méthodes de démantèlement ont été développées grâce à l’apport de firmes d’ingénierie spécialisées. La conférence sera une présentation technique sur les méthodes de déconstruction de Nouvel Horizon St-Laurent S.E.N.C. (NHSL), l’entrepreneur mandaté pour les travaux.

Speakers for this event
M. Hébert possède plus de 20 années d’expérience en gestion de projets civils avec une spécialité en déconstruction. Après des études universitaires en administration, il travaille pendant une douzaine d’années pour un entrepreneur spécialisé en démantèlement où il acquiert et consolide son expérience en projet de déconstruction. Par la suite, il se joint à une firme d’ingénierie québécoise majeure ou il développe une expérience « Grand projet » de type Conception-Construction et PPP. Finalement en 2015, il se joint à l’équipe de Delsan-AIM en tant que directeur des travaux civils. Au cours de sa carrière, il a participé à de nombreux projets d’infrastructure majeurs de la région de Montréal, dont la modernisation de l’autoroute Bonaventure, la reconstruction de l’échangeur Turcot, la construction du nouveau pont Samuel-de Champlain et assume depuis 2020 la direction de projet pour la déconstruction du pont Champlain d’origine.
À la suite de la finalisation de ses études de génie civil en infrastructure à Paris, M. Réau a travaillé pendant près de 10 ans sur de grands projets à l’international pour une entreprise de construction d’envergure mondiale. Ses principales responsabilités concernent les tâches effectuées dans les départements techniques. Plus particulièrement, il s’implique au niveau de la conception et de la coordination entre les firmes de génie afin de développer les méthodes de travail sur le projet Champlain.
